Enneagram Team Days in Cape Town & South Africa

Find out what's actually driving your team, and what's quietly working against it

Every team has patterns nobody's named out loud: who shuts down under pressure, who needs control to feel safe, who avoids conflict until it's too late to manage well. An Enneagram team day puts those patterns on the table, on purpose, so the team can work with them instead of around them.

This isn't a personality quiz for its own sake, and it isn't a once-off workshop that everyone forgets by Friday. It's a three-stage process that moves from individual insight to a shared team language for how you actually work together.

How an Enneagram team day actually runs

1. Individual assessment

Every team member completes an iEQ9 Enneagram assessment, the same instrument used in the individual coaching work we do. This gives each person a precise, practical read on their default patterns, not a label, a working map of how they operate under pressure, what motivates them and where their blind spots sit.

2. Personal debrief

Each person gets a one-on-one debrief to walk through their own results before the team ever sees them together. This matters: nobody should meet their blind spots for the first time in a room full of colleagues. By the time the team day happens, every person already understands their own profile.

3. The team day

The full team comes together to explore the group's collective motivations and blind spots side by side, where the friction actually comes from, and what each person needs from the others to do their best work. The day ends with working agreements the team sets for itself, not rules handed down from the front of the room.

Why this works better than a generic team-building day

Most team interventions treat friction as a communication problem and hand out a framework. This treats it as what it actually is, nine genuinely different ways of seeing the world, each with a different trigger, a different blind spot and a different version of what "working well together" looks like. Once a team can name that in itself, out loud, in the room, the friction stops being personal and starts being manageable.
